豹貓（拉丁學(xué)名：Prionailurus bengalensis）是產(chǎn)于亞洲的貓科動物。豹貓的體型與家貓大致相仿，但各亞種的差別比較大，例如印度尼西亞的亞種平均體長45厘米，尾長20厘米，而西伯利亞的亞種體長則達(dá)到60厘米，尾長40厘米。豹貓的毛皮也有很多種顏色：南方的豹貓為黃色，北方的則為銀灰色。胸部及腹部是白色。豹貓的斑點(diǎn)一般為黑色。豹貓是夜行動物，通常以嚙齒類、鳥類、魚類、爬行類及小型哺乳動物為食。除了交配季節(jié)外，它們一般為獨(dú)處。
Leopard Cat (Scientific Latin Name: Prionailurus bengalensis) is a kind of big cat found in Asia. They are roughly the same size asdomestic cats, but they vary considerably from subspecies to subspecies. For example, the Indonesian subspecies have an average body length of 45 cm and a tail length of 20 cm, while the Siberian subspecies have a body length of 60 cm and a tail length of 40 cm. They also come in a variety of colors: yellow in the south and silvery gray in the north.The chest and abdomen are white. They generally have black spots. They are nocturnal and usually feed on rodents, birds, fish, reptiles and small mammals. They are usually solitary, except during the mating season.
